ok... here's how it will go...

Psycho1_77 = #1
dogdiety11 = #2
honeygloom = #3
Elevatormusic = #4
Shadowman =#5
Houlgrave =#6
nashvillebecker = #7
Cheeseliker = #8

These are your author numbers... also, these are the storyline numbers, as they are the storyline you will start. I want to shoot for a max of 6 weeks for timeframe... all chapters for all 8 stories must meet this deadline... I am going to post this on a story on each of your pages... If you cannot meet a deadline, there are 2 subs you may contact and use, I will inform them that they will be alternates because they wanted to take part but did not get in fast enough... they are writerwannabe and wsells... you may sub out to either of them or any other author taking part in this endeavor.

The chosen start chapter will be October Chill because it has a lot of potential...

Each storyline will have a unique name, but, to keep things from getting confusing, each subsequent chapter will start with the name of the storyline, colon, then your chapter name...the way that my Cry-baby Bridge series is titled through the subsequent chapters, if you are unsure of what I mean, check it out... this will help keep us all organized... once all 8 initial Chapter 2's are published, I will break down the randomized chapter assignments and post them for everyone to look at so that I may use the storyline names to assign them out... I will post them as a comment on THE ORIGINAL POST that I made announcing this endeavor... It will be the responsibility of each of you to check back to see the assignments AND comment to acknowledge... Sunday is going to be the official start, so 6 weeks from then, we should all be finished... good luck to each and every one of you... and have as much fun with this as possible... if this works out well, I plan to host another and any one of you may feel free to do the same, I just hope I get invited to take part...lol...

As always, exceptional writing!
However, know I’m confused…Cause weren’t they were all on the same flight…including Angelique and Toby. Or was ‘the infamous’ a flash forward and then the airplane chapter here a flash back again?
Either way…I smell an end in sight!

Yeah, I was hoping it wouldn't be confusing. But it is a kind of flash back I guess. I tried to work with all of Psycho's new twists (which were cool, don't get me wrong)and all I could see was another 2 million chapters (minimum, I swear) so I tried to think of a different way to un-resurect the dead Wright. The me I sometimes imagine watching stories as movies, was like, "longer? really? I've got stuff to do. Who edits these things?" So you see, I know a dream sequence is kind of a cop-out, but in the intrest of finishing this mash before we're all too crippled with arthritis to type, I thought it was the best choice. I mean, if I had total control I wouldn't have flashed forward and back again, but what are ya gonna do? I just hope Psycho isn't ticked off... At any rate I wanted to explain it a little better, but we've never introduced an omnicient narrator type who can caption everthing ya know. EXAMPLE: "How our motley conspirators all got off the plane without noticing each other is beyond this narrator's mash-up know how, but off they got. While Shirley, Che, Egg, & Skeeter all sans black folder, & all somewhat missdirected head off to The Pageant, Toby and Angelique (cum black folder (for the Latin lovers))head (oddly unnoticed)to the hotel for a sticky sweet tête-à-tête; their appointment with fate is for tomorrow. This nonchalant narrator noticed, however, that the beefy Brett hasn't had a mention in chapters. Where could that goon have got to?" See, we don't have that guy... Sheesh I've had a lot of caffeine today.
Anyway, thanks and sorry to confuse.

That was a significant reason I recapped Toby's thoughts in the next chapter too. Still clueless as to who'll jump on the grenade and wrap this mess up. I've not seen a clear-cut answer, but then that's the art of storytelling: to make something inevitably surprising. (Or is it suprisingly inevitable?)

It looks like a showdown is in order but who (and how) prevails? I'd almost like the original author to read through this mess and pen the solution. Unless this takes another roller coaster loop, Opening Acts and Headliners will probably be my last contribution to this string.

Ooooohhh, now I get it! Nicely done. Dont listen to me...I'm always confused when Im sober.
I think I was away from this for too long and I actually forgot some of the details…or got my lines crossed as there are a few different branches now…aren’t there?
Yea, how did they all get on/off the plane without seeing each other! Too funny. Maybe this was meant to actually be a comedy….with Bill Murray starring as Wright…but then when he’s resurrected from the dead…he could be played by William Shatner. (just for **** and giggles as he is a master of disguise!) Seth Rogen as Toby. Pam Anderson in a black wig as Shirley. And that kooky red headed girl from Wedding Crashers as Angelique.
I loved your suggestion of Buchemi as Egg. Perfect.
Anywhooo…I agree that the time is coming to wrap all this up. Sooo many other MASHs to get to.
Bethany and the vampires. October chill. You have ‘blond over blue’ and ‘syphilis is up’…and let’s not forget Nashs ‘Autobiography’ series. I really like that one.

Oh, and how about Jim Carey as Che…(yea, I know!)

Great; that'd make me the dead guy. More often than not, when I meet someone new and hold a long conversation, it will pop up, "Did anyone ever tell you that you remind them of Bill Murray?"

Yes. Yes. And again: yes.

Don't get me wrong; I like the guy. He has talent. But he's far from easy on the eyes. (I suppose it beats people asking if I remind them of Steve Buscemi - creeeeeepy.)

I know, it takes forever to write these chapters because I have to spend so much time re-reading.
I love Bill Murry. What if HE played Toby? I don't think we really ever specified his age anywhere, how cool/pathetic would that be? Like a mixture of the Caddy Shack guy and his character in Rushmore?

no doubt! He got that cute girl in Groundhog day...with her cold red nose and all that wonderfully curly black hair. One of my all time favorite comfort movies. (She played Dale Beaverman in St. Elmos Fire...yea, useless knowledge!)
and he got Scarlett Johannson...in Lost in translation. wowee wow wow.
Bill Murry rules.
Has anyone seen 'The man who knew too little?'
Love that movie!
