Not bad. Actually quite good. Good friends saying goodbyes and picking right up from where they last left off. Your story was heartfelt and needed.
The only flaw was you mentioned he had cancer when the main theme is Anthomy suffering from a brain tumor.
That aside, great continuation boobiewalker. Thank you......

Are you serious? Brain tumors are a type of cancer...

Damn, another sensational chapter to this storyline. Really well written. You created a believable character and a believable situation. I can picture myself acting and saying the exact same things as these two characters, regardless of which role I was in.
Great chapter!

Side note:

Brain tumors can be benign or malignant:
• Benign brain tumors do not contain cancer cells:
• Usually, benign tumors can be removed, and they seldom grow back.
• The border or edge of a benign brain tumor can be clearly seen. Cells from benign tumors do not invade tissues around them or spread to other parts of the body. However, benign tumors can press on sensitive areas of the brain and cause serious health problems.
• Unlike benign tumors in most other parts of the body, benign brain tumors are sometimes life threatening.
• Very rarely, a benign brain tumor may become malignant.
**********************
**********************
• Malignant brain tumors contain cancer cells:
• Malignant brain tumors are generally more serious and often are life threatening.
• They are likely to grow rapidly and crowd or invade the surrounding healthy brain tissue.
• Very rarely, cancer cells may break away from a malignant brain tumor and spread to other parts of the brain, to the spinal cord, or even to other parts of the body. The spread of cancer is called metastasis.
Sometimes, a malignant tumor does not extend into healthy tissue. The tumor may be contained within a layer of tissue. Or the bones of the skull or another structure in the head may confine it. This kind of tumor is called encapsulated."

I was thinking more of a benign tumor. I just hate that word "cancer." Hate what it does, how it destroys lives.
Dog, your such a great guy man. I think your true calling should be working with the United Nations. You are a true mediator, and I admire that.
Boobiewalker this is a great chapter. Your writing talent gets better and better. I did not mean any offense. Cancer just runs rampant in my family, and I just subconsciously avoided it.

It runs rampant in mine, too. That's why I used it. Had it been mentioned already that it was benign in any other chapter? If not, well, I think I did what I was supposed to do and fleshed the story out.

Wow! Boobie this was brilliant. Great dialogue, so believable and touching. The tone you created between the two characters was perfect too. I loved it, great job:)

Hey, Dr. Dog...great oncology lesson...lol. Great chapter, boobie. Like the good Dr. I could really associate with this chapter. Good narrative and dialogue in a great mix. 5 points from me.
Dr. Dog gets 4 points because he used a word I had to look up...benign. LOL...just kidding. Or?

I bet all you freaks didn't think the Boobs was capable of such melodrama, did you? Be honest, you probably expected Boobie Walker to parade Tony about town all hopped up on tumor meds, hallucinating like Anne Heche, and raping and pillaging all the while. Well, friends, Boobie does not **** around. Now you know.

Well, Boobie, we all build reputations for ourselves and people come to expect certain things from us. That said, I think others will join me in saying that this chapter was quite an appropriate addition to the rest of the story. It has genuine pathos and realistic dialogue.

As I haven't read anything else before this by you Boobiewalker, I had no preconceptions of raping and pillaging, hallucinating like Anne Heche...which is a very strange analogy. Anyway, an excellent addition to the story. Can't add much more than anyone else already has except for another Good Job.
