I would have to agree...this was exciting and definitely one that will be fun to see where all it goes. Plus, a challenge for any writers who will be mashing it...which of course is fun.

I think that there needs to be a spell check in the text box. There are a lot of spelling errors that would be picked up with a simple spell check addition...

I love the idea of the readers only option as well. While there is a good community here, it seems that it is mostly writers. There isn't anyone here just reading stuff. It seems that this would make the site more fun for writers, and also get the whole point of the storymash out there more!

This is a fantastic way to take what was an interesting, but rather pointless start. I would never have imagined!

I am brand new to SM, however I write articles and blog entries for 14 other sites right now. The ones I like the best are those that are easily editable. This makes it easy to update it. To change it and to fix minor issues. The one problem that could happen here at SM is that if one comes up with a better story, it could disrupt the chapter that follows it. Even minor detail changes can make a huge difference in the following chapters. The editing with multiple users is interesting, but makes it even more complicated to read and sometimes the reading is a little complicated any way till you get used to what's going on.

On the other hand, I think that this community looks very active (commenting on each other's posts, getting to know each other's work). With that in mind, a forum or message board would be fantastic!

Thanks for the compliment. This is my first try. It was a lot of fun. I write a lot of articles on a ton of sites for a living (well, working my way up to a living) and I had a blast trying something new and stretching myself! I am so glad you enjoyed it!
