Ikbar was one of twelve lords in the beautiful land of Shiandrin. He had been born in Taragen, the son of a somewhat wealthy merchant. No one had expected him to excel to the position of lord, but he had, he had proven them all wrong by becoming the youngest lord in the land. He had attempted to rewrite the laws of the lords that had been in standing for so long, and defy them all. Unfortunately, only one other lord, Delfar, the oldest lord alive, had stood by him this past month. Delfar and he were removed as lords unceremoniously. Ikbar returned to his castle, but did not pack up as he was meant to. Instead, he readied his army; he did not plan to go peacefully, but to change the world around him. He refused to watch corrupt officials destroy something that could be so beautiful. He had invited Delfar to his castle before they had been removed from their positions of lordship to tell him about a grand plan he had concocted within the past few days. Delfar, unlike Ikbar, had fallen from power and been forced out of his homeland, barely escaping with his life. A new lord had already replaced Delfar. They loved him as he sought to save them from corruption.
Ikbar was quickly walking towards his private dining room where Delfar had arrived only minutes ago. He had been working in his private chambers, working non-stop on his plans. He had been sorting through various reports from soldiers, peasants, and random books. These reports covered information on the other ten lord’s methods in ruling and combat, the only uncertainty was this new lord that had replaced Delfar. Ikbar was very interested in where Delfar had been, how he had escaped, and what his thoughts were. As he stood in front of the dining room door, he collected his thoughts. He wanted to be able to clarify his intentions to Delfar. He reached out and pushed open the door, taking a deep breath…
