Discussion of "The Trader Chronicle, 7" by Jackoalltrades

Jackoalltrades ~ A well paced action chapter! I thoroughly enjoy this however I’m starting to miss our original seven. While I like what you have done with the new characters, now only a character as you laid Lens to rest, I’m not seeing any connection yet other than the enemy they are fighting. Of course, again…we are talking about SM chapters which translate a story differently than a book. Interesting turn for Johnsa too.

I did feel a little distracted at the end. I don’t think it was necessary to try and veil that it was her who survived. It was pretty obvious, especially since the whole chapter was about her. The only way I could see that working is if you ended this particular chapter with the previous paragraph: “Before the sun cleared the horizon, only death remained.”
Then after a few chapters dealing with the original storyline and the seven warriors, picked this one back up began it with “It was the sound of scavengers tearing into rotting meat that finally aroused the sleeping figure.”
Anyway, just my opinion.
Only two chapters to go! Another five.

Hmmm that's not a bad idea, looking back at it. I'll make sure to keep that in mind.
